About The Event

Cause: Stand By Them

India has the highest number of children, constituting about 19% of the World's child population. Now is a time which is more crucial than ever for us to be better prepared in tackling and mitigating child-abuse issues.

Discussing child-abuse is a social stigma that not many of us would want to venture into. VFC hence is bringing forth an interactive session on prevention of child-abuse that aims to be the much-needed ice-breaker.

Highlights of the session include:

* Discussing myths surrounding child abuse and allowing all of us to be fully prepared to tackle it.

* Understanding the effects and impacts of child abuse and knowing how to interact with a child suffering from the ordeal.

* Knowing the crucial roles that volunteers, parents, and schools play in the prevention of child abuse

4. Understanding the POCSO Act

VFC invites you to be a part of this session and urges you to spread the word about this initiative, with your friends and family.

Date: Saturday, 6th June 2020
